Inclusions
These are almost always covered in the total upfront cost of your tour:

- A dedicated support vehicle (air-conditioned van/truck) that follows the riders to carry luggage, provide a lift on steep climbs, and offer a rest when needed.
- A mechanic or guide trained in bicycle repairs, equipped with standard tools and basic spare parts.
- Bikes & Safety Gear: High-quality mountain or hybrid bikes (e.g., Trek or Giant mountain bikes suitable for Lao terrain).
- Safety helmets (mandatory on nearly all tours).
- Note: Some operators package this into the base price, while others separate it as a minor add-on fee.
- Accommodation: All overnight stays throughout the itinerary, typically on a twin-share basis. This ranges from charming boutique colonial hotels in Luang Prabang to clean, comfortable rural guesthouses and eco-lodges along the Mekong.

- Unlimited drinking water, fresh fruits, and local snacks provided from the support vehicle during riding hours.
- Activities & Sightseeing: All entrance fees for scheduled national parks, waterfalls (like Kuang Si), caves (like Pak Ou), and historical sites (like the Plain of Jars or Wat Phou).

- Insurance & Medical:
- Comprehensive travel and medical insurance (most operators mandate that your policy explicitly covers cycle touring).
- Personal medical expenses, vaccinations, or medicines.
